About Kui Buri:

Discover the charm and tranquility of the real unspoilt Thailand along the virgin coastline of Kui Buri. Situated on the Gulf of Thailand just 3 hours drive south of Bangkok, and half an hour south of the beach resort of Hua Hin, the area has a number of traditional local fishing villages and is seldom discovered by non-Thais.


Getting to Kui Buri:

Transfers can be organised by limousine, car or van from all airports. Transfer time from Bangkok is approximately 3 hours; from Hua Hin is approximately 30 minutes. Secure parking is available at the resort. Please ask us for details or assistance at the time of booking.


Best time to visit Kui Buri:

A tropical savannah climate, temperatures are very warm to hot throughout the year, with only small variations. The year begins with the dry season (December–April), before the more inclement weather begins in May. Rainfall tends to be sporadic from June to September before the heaviest rains fall in October and November. Peak season then begins again in December.



Highlights in Kui Buri:

The Kui Buri National Park is just a short drive away and is home to one of the largest populations of gaurs (Indian Bison) in Thailand as well as around 320 elephants. Other local wildlife you may encounter includes leopards and wild boar. A guided tour can be arranged from the visitor center on arrival at the park.
Several waterfalls in the area, including the 15-tier Huay Dong Mai Fai Waterfall and the smaller Pha Ma Hon Waterfall, offer an opportunity for a refreshing dip to cool off in the fresh water. Or explore the limestone caves in


Culture in Kui Buri:

Prachuab Khirikhan is a 25 minute drive away and is well known for its fresh and inexpensive seafood, with nightly stalls near the fishing pier on Prachuap Bay. Also worth a visit is the “monkey temple”, Wat Thammikaram, which is situated just north of the town.
